Our Security Officer Training Program is an innovative state-of-the-art program that provides our employees an opportunity for personal growth and professional development. The Security Officer Training Program offers the opportunity to acquire skills in CPR, first aid, supervision skills, firefighting and advanced security skills at our monthly classes.

Intensive training and a four-level educational and awareness program enables our highly qualified security officers to provide top-notch security in all situations.

In a program consistent with our goal to provide valuable services to our clients, our courses are designed to encourage employees to reach four levels of qualifications through comprehensive training in the following areas:

Level 1 Applicants must satisfactorily pass testing in all of the following:

  • Drug Screening
  • Background Investigation
  • Pre-Assignment Training
  • Reliability Survey
  • Awareness Program
  • Site-Specific Training

Level 2 Upon completion of:

  • Orientation
  • Career Preparation
  • General Duties of Security Officers
  • Patrol Procedures
  • Client Rule Enforcement
  • Relations with Law Enforcement and the Public
  • Testifying
  • D.P.S. Rules and Regulations
  • Effectiveness of Private Security (3 Hours)
  • Public Relations
  • Client/ Management Relations (2 Hours)
  • Report Writing (2 Hours)
  • Criminal Law (2 Hours)

Level 3 Upon completion of:

  • Laws of Arrest (2 Hours)
  • Burglary/ Trespass
  • Criminal Damage/ Littering
  • Sabotage/ Espionage
  • Narcotics Detection
  • Traffic Control
  • Crowd Control
  • Search and Seizure
  • Robbery/ Theft
  • Endangerment/ Assault
  • Bomb Threats/ Arson
  • Escorts
  • Crime Scene Evidence

Level 4 Professional security officer status upon completion of:

  • Radio Communication
  • Electronics in Security
  • Juvenile Protection
  • Stress
  • Fire Prevention and Suppression
  • C.P.R. (4 Hours)
  • Baton (4 Hours)
  • Firearms – Legal Use, Techniques, Safety and Care (4 Hours)
  • Firearms – Qualification of the Range
    (6 Hours)
  • Interview and Interrogations
  • Shoplifting
  • Disturbed Individuals
  • Safety
  • First Aid (8 Hours)
  • Self Defense (4 Hours)
