(Phoenix, AZ) – Karen Hood of Chandler and Nichole Chapman of Macomb, MI will receive this year’s one-thousand dollar scholarship from H.P. Anderson, Sr. Private Security Museum on Friday, December 22.
Both girls are leaders in their community with high aspirations of maintaining and improving private security in the U.S. Each contestant wrote an essay describing the importance of private security while also demonstrating their desire to give back to the community.
“While the police departments do a fantastic job protecting our communities, they can not be everywhere.” said Nichole Chapman. “I’m dedicated to contributing to the vital role that private security fulfills in assisting our law enforcement.”
While both women are looking forward to future goals, Karen Hood is counting on her seven years of experience in private security and continued education to assist in her desire to provide a secure environment for youth as Warden of the Maricopa County Detention Center for Juveniles.
Anderson Security Agency honors Karen Hood and Nichole Chapman for their hard work and dedication to protecting our communities, family and friends.
Anderson Security Agency is home to the H.P. Anderson, Sr. Private Security Museum, a non-profit foundation dedicated to recognizing and highlighting the professionalism of the private security industry.
